Diom De Kossa is originally from the Ivory Coast, and handles the whole spectrum from the old west african acoustic traditions to more modern music. In 1975 he started his artistic career at the National Ballet in the Ivory Coast, where he spent 10 years playing with other master percussionists, musicians and dancers. Since 1987 he has played more than a 1000 concerts throughout Norway.
